The white ginger lily is used to prepare this floral absolute oil which is also known by the name of dolan champa in Hindi, sonataka in Marathi, takhellei angouba in Manipuri and suruli sugandhi in Kannada. This herbaceous perennial plant belongs to the Zingiberaceae family and grows up to the height of 3 to 6 feet and having a very beautiful flower of orange & white color. It is the national flower of Cuba and known by the name of “Flor de Mariposa”. The absolute oil of white ginger lily comprises the vital constituents of Fractionated coconut oil and essential oils.
