Gardenia Absolute Oil is extracted from the flowers of Gardenia through solvent extraction method. Gardenia is known by another name i.e. Cape jasmine or Women Gold. They are evergreen shrubs and small trees that grow up to the height of 1–15 meters (3.3–49 ft) tall. Further, chemical constituents of this absolute oil are Benzyl acetate, linalool, phenyl acetate, linalyl acetate, terpineol, methyl anthranilate. This absolute oil is quite renowned all across the world for its rich, floral sweet fragrance and therapeutic properties. Moreover, for thousands of years it is being used in herbal medicines for treating varied infections and insomnia.
